I am a video, audio and RF electronics repair technician since 1974. I am also a Naval veteran and former crewmember of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz CVN 68. I served as an Operations Specialist and as a Navigator at sea. I also served as a Fireman at stand down.
I am a founding member of the Jersey Cape Dstar Users Group (JCDUG) owners of the NJ2DS repeater system. and currently a member of the Cape May County Amateur Radio Club, N2CMC. I'm a former member of the Warminster Amateur Radio Club K3DN, Penn Wireless Association, W3SK and Wyndmoor Repeater Club WA3EPA. I'm also a former member of the Montgomery County RACES/ARES emergency communications traffic system. I currently hold an operating position with Cape May County RACES/ARES. I am a full supporting and dedicated member of the ARRL. I am a working member of the CW National Traffic System (NTS). I'm an ARRL Accredited Volunteer Examiner (VE) and an ARRL Official Observer (OO) in cooperation with the FCC amateur auxiliary in the Atlantic Division, Southern New Jersey Section. I am also the current Southern New Jersey Section Manager.
I truly enjoy real fist high speed CW. I also enjoy DX'ing, SSB Phone. and exploring new modes. Elmering to new Hams is always rewarding and is a major focus as my role in Amateur Radio. I have earned many friends thought out the world, but the folks in New Jersey are simply the finest!
I am currently available for QSO and Rag Chew on Echolink VoIP radio N2CMC-R Node 422196 - My HF VFO is usualy resting on 160 meters at 1805.0 KHz SSB Phone or CW. I may also be listening 80 meters at 3840.0 KHz SSB Phone or CW. I am also available on the new Dstar Digital Gateway at NJ2DS module C
